About the role

 

Our Mine Maintenance department, composed of approximately 68 people, is integrated with Mine Operations and Mine Utility teams and focuses on the safe and reliable operation of all mine assets while minimizing downtime and supporting overall production goals.

As a Mine Maintenance Electrician C, you will perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems across underground mining equipment. You will work closely with operations and production teams to ensure maintenance activities are well-coordinated, safe, and aligned with site priorities.

This role requires a strong safety mindset, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a highly collaborative team environment.

 

You will be accountable for:

 

    • Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on low, medium, and high voltage systems
    • Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to ensure efficient and aligned operations
    • Conduct inspections and risk assessments to maintain safe working conditions
    • Identify and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability
    • Support overall mine operations through proactive and responsive maintenance execution

 

We offer at-will employment based on site working a 12-hour rotating shift (days and nights), typically from 6:00am to 6:00pm, depending on schedule.

 

 

About you

 

High School Diploma or GED and a valid Driver’s License are required.

Minimum one year of applicable electrical experience is required; formal electrical training is preferred.

Experience working in industrial or mining environments with the ability to work independently and safely.

About the pay and benefits

 

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is: $40.00-$45.40 per hour in the United States. Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
