We are looking for: 

 

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for and execute all aspects of operations (manufacturing, process, systems, quality, etc.) for their assigned unit plant. This position will be accountable for establishing and implementing plans and cost targets and for meeting overall business unit objectives.

 

 

We count on you for: 

 

  • Ensuring safe operations by identifying and resolving unsafe acts and conditions within the unit.
  • Resolving operational difficulties and providing technical problem solving capability to eliminate production of nonconforming materials.
  • Debottlenecking production to increase run rates and achieve targeted production costs.
  • Support larger projects run by project and Geo Engineers.
  • Developing and implementing capital projects (as assigned) to support improvements 
  • Managing the rework process for non-conforming, aged (slow moving) and/or obsolete materials.
  • Tracking and communicating key unit performance measurements including yields, costs, reliability, production and quality metrics.
  • Working with the maintenance supervisor to support elimination of recurring equipment problems.
  • Participating in setting up workflows to facilitate production at higher rates.
  • Supporting development and deployment of unit strategic vision.
  • Serving as subject matter expert for at-line training to reinforce good manufacturing practices.
  • Streamlining work processes to optimize utilization of operations resources.
     

 

You will bring:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with 2-5 years manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management skills
