Maintenance Planner/scheduler

We are looking for:

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler supports the maintenance department by planning and scheduling all non-emergency maintenance work including day-to-day activities, one-day outages, and assists with major shut down planning and scheduling.  Additionally, the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler manages transactions for maintenance activities within the computerized maintenance management system, CMMS (SAP).  The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler also serves as the Winder site’s primary contractor safety trainer.  The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will serve as the backup to the MRO assistant as needed.

• Requires good organizational, computer, written and verbal communication skills.   
• Requires working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Google Suite and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.  
• Knowledge of MS PowerPoint and SAP a plus.  
• Shall have demonstrated his/her ability to effectively organize and manage daily activities, demonstrated problem solving ability and demonstrated willingness to take on more responsibility and difficult assignments.

You will bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years in a storeroom administrative capacity 
• 3 years working in maintenance or projects in order to have in-depth knowledge of equipment and parts used in a typical chemical plant and such knowledge about chemical industry equipment in order to effectively plan daily maintenance department activities.

• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 per year.  Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
