Maintenance Electrical Engineer
We are looking for:
- The Maintenance Electrical Engineer plays a significant role in design, development, and maintenance of plant electrical systems for buildings, transport systems and power distribution networks as well as the maintenance electrical and instrumentation planning and scheduling task.
We count on you for:
- Design, maintain, implement, or improve electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
- Establish and maintain construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, national and local codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
- Prepare specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
- Supervise and train project team members, both internal and external.
- Write Safe Work Permits and perform job setup for anything over 480 volts.
- Champion electrical equipment stewardship.
- Participate in daily planning and scheduling for site maintenance staff, focusing mostly on electrical planning and troubleshooting, but developing skills to fill in for Maintenance Supervisor during short-term absences, as needed.
- Champion SAP electrical planning and scheduling.

You will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited school
- A minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in a manufacturing environment with extensive high voltage experience and also instrumentation experience
- Experience with industrial Distributed Control Systems
- Hands-on experience with plant electrical and instrumentation equipment maintenance and troubleshooting:
- Variable Frequency Drives
- Motors
- Discrete & Analog Instrumentation
- Industrial communication protocols (HART, Modbus, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, etc)
- Automated valves
- Safety Critical Interlocks
- Low voltage power systems
- Proficiency in applicable codes related to electrical engineering.
- SAP experience is a plus.
You will get:
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $90,000.00 to $113,000.00 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
