We are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager for Industrial Process Solutions in the North America region. The incumbent will be responsible for the Development of Innovation as per Growth mandates of IPS and will work with Sales Team for development of innovation Opportunities and commercialization.
 

We count on you for:
Main responsibilities include:

  • Lead development, advancement and governance of Opportunity and Innovation Pipe as per GBU guidelines.
  • Lead prospecting and opportunity development for IPS growth mandates i.e. Metal Treatment, Lubricants additives, MWF, Water treatment for North America region.
  • Collaborate with sales and R&I to develop new leads and opportunities, advance them to first commercialization and transfer to commercial teams. Be a flag bearer of IPS star products and technologies.
  • Support sales team in the region with updated Cost models and other data to help enable business growth
  • Coordinate Techno-Transfer, industrialization and commercialization of New Products and Technology of designated products
  • Develop tolling models for products under stressed assets, in collaboration with SCM/Tech-transfer/Tech Asset Strategy. Assess feasibility of New product industrialization with Product asset management teams.
  • Lead prospecting and opportunity development for IPS growth mandates i.e. Metal Treatment and Lubricants for North America region
  • Help sales team deliver pricing as per margin policy.
  • Promote solution / Value sales approach for innovative products. Develop Total-Cost-Ownership models.
  • Able to assimilate raw data, forecast and Prepare Business / financial plans
  • Deliver on targets of Opportunity creation, advancement and sales realization, Innovation delivery.

You will bring:

  • Graduation in Chemical Engineering or Post Graduate Chemistry. Management Education desirable
  • Strong analytical and Numerate skills. Data crunching on Excel is desirable
  • Sales / Business Development / Technical Marketing experience in Chemicals of > than 15 years
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Good Knowledge of English communication in writing and verbal is a must
  • Good knowledge of Excel & G-Sheet to handle large data sets. Proficient with Power Point to make internal and External presentations
  • Should possess good technical knowledge to understand product chemistries, technical literature, have technical discussion with customers on product applications
  • Be able to perform market analysis, market sizing  and make business plans.
  • Ability to perform basic Financial analysis on NPV, ROI etc

 

You will get:

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $120 000 to $160 000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

Additional Information:
Prime area of travel: North America
Work Type: Hybrid. 3 days from Office and 2 days from Home.
