We are looking for:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer (QE) to drive quality excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. The QE will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a passion for performance, a commitment to sustainable and ethical practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

 

We count on you for:

  • Ensure that all quality documentation such as specifications, inspection records, testing requirements, sampling plans, and quality procedures are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements

  • Understand manufacturing processes and key operational metrics to ensure seamless collaboration and communication across diverse teams to identify and resolve quality issues

  • Support production supervisory personnel in troubleshooting operational problems that affect the quality of finished products or intermediates

  • Collaborate on recovery and reworking of off-spec production to ensure adherence to established quality standards, focusing on improving product yields without compromising product quality

  • Provide training to production personnel on quality procedures and quality assurance principles

  • Conduct production process inspections and leverage data analytics to provide insights and recommend and recommend targeted interventions

  • Monitor product quality performance through SQC/SPC and process capability analysis of critical process parameters; Identify areas of variation (such as raw materials, process, or quality analysis), implement measures to reduce variation, and track the effectiveness of these measures

  • Maintain documentation of nonconforming material and customer complaint evaluations, reporting findings, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions, including 8D reports as necessary

  • Lead and facilitate the Quality Improvement Team in continuous improvement activities, including 5S, Kaizen events, lean & six sigma concepts, and applicable problem-solving methodologies

  • Support the Quality team in preparing for and facilitating first, second, and third-party audits

  • Support digital transformation as well as maintain electronic document systems such as LIMs, SAP, STARS, Google docs, etc.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience in quality/process engineering function in manufacturing environment

  • A Quality mindset with strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS), ISO9001 lead auditot

  • An understanding of analytical test methods

  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and ability to take initiative in solving complex technical and process problems is essential

  • An organized approach to work and the capability to lead projects

 

You will get:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $86,000 to $106,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
