We are looking for:
 
The Production Supervisor is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Radel Production Operations at the Marietta, OH site.
 
 
We count on you for:

  • Supervises front-line operations and shift maintenance workforce to achieve safety, environmental, quality and production objectives
  • Responsible for emergency response, serves as incident commander on-shift
  • Champion for day-to-day safety and environmental performance
  • Ensure day-to-day operational compliance with all safe work practices
  • Coordinates production efforts to meet schedule requirements
  • Motivates, coaches and develops subordinates to achieve high performance work team
  • Knowledgeable of all equipment and processes in Unit to be an effective trouble-shooter, works with operators and maintenance to develop this skill while developing an effective trouble-shooting team.
  • Leads and participates in incident investigations.
  • An essential ERO leader and incident commander whenever necessary.
  • Execute incident investigations as assigned by Production Area Leader
  • Participate in select Area Improvement Teams (AITs) as applicable
  • Manage work cell front line tasks such as housekeeping inspections, handbook and other audits, satellite accumulation, etc. and ensures SHE compliance and 5S standards are sustained
  • Act as on-site supervision on off-shifts/weekends to ensure continual plant operations
  • Familiar with all Radel equipment and processes thus actively participates in troubleshooting and resolving process issues

You will bring:
 

  • 5-10 years experience in chemical manufacturing supervisory background is preferred; 3-5 years supervisory experience is required.
  • Some college or technical training applicable to plant operations is desirable
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is the minimum education acceptable
  • PSM experience is required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage team members.
  • Understanding manufacturing processes
  • Understand key operational metrics
  • Familiarity of ISO 9001 / 9100

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $90,880 to $113,600 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
