About the role

 

Our Maintenance department is focused on delivering equipment safety and reliability, and regulatory compliance for our manufacturing site.

As an Intern, you will be assigned to the Maintenance department and will be responsible for performing general labor tasks to support all teams. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the growth and have a positive impact on transformation journey of Solvay.

 

You will be accountable for:

    • Shoveling, painting, moving material, cleanup and maintenance support.
    • Soda blasting
    • Weeding and Mowing
    • Assisting Maintenance Mechanics

 

We offer a temporary contract based on onsite working mode

 

About you

 

High School Diploma required.

 

Competencies:

    • Must be able to learn and apply all safety requirements.
    • Must be able to follow instructions.
    • Must have the ability to work with others and be team oriented.

About the pay and benefits

 

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the USA base pay reasonably expected for this role is $20.00/hr to $22.00/hr, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. If the Student is assigned to work underground, they will be paid an additional $2 per hour for underground premium. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
