We are looking for:

  • GBU Oil & Gas Solutions is looking for a data management specialist to help support its day-to-day operational activities throughout the world.
              

We count on you for:

  • Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and manage data that is critical to the day-to-day operations of the business. Business continuity and operational efficiency are the primary objectives.          
  • You will be working primarily in the following applications: SAP, MDG, CRM and Service One.
  • You will be working primarily in the management of material and structures data occasionally, you will be required to help maintain production/planning data, logistics data or customer data.
  •  You will work on small projects that focus on analyzing business data, with a view towards improving various workflows, increasing efficiency, addressing operational problems, etc.           
  • While your role will be focused on data management, on occasion you will be asked to support other goals of the Oil & Gas IS group. For instance, you may be asked to assist users in submitting and tracking tickets, etc.
  • You will be working to support a user base that is primarily in the United States, but you will also be interacting regularly with users in Latin America, Europe and Asia.   
  • You will be able to work remotely or at a nearby O&G location, depending on your preference. If working remotely, you may still be required to travel to a local office from time to time. 
     

You will bring:

Ideal candidates should meet the following minimum requirements. These requirements are strongly preferred, but not absolute.

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • At least 3 years of SAP experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas (production, planning, logistics execution, reporting)
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Google Sheets
    Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently on small projects
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast learner

You will get:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • The base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
