We are looking for:
The Quality Systems Engineer leads quality assurance and control activities, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements, ensuring that all aerospace products meet rigorous safety and performance standards.
We count on you for:
- Active participant in defect reduction endeavors as they relate to Supplier/ In-House defect origination as well as attributed to Process Capability deficiencies
- Provides technical engineering expertise in a high-volume engineered materials (adhesives) manufacturing facility
- Supports the Maintenance, improvements and sustainability of our AS9100 Quality Management System
- Monitors product performance via the current Operational metrics: initiate corrective action programs to address unfavorable trends
- Hosts External auditors and provides support for customer visits and meetings
- Participant in our internal audit program
- Quality liaison to Customer Support, Operations, Technical Services and Sales teams
- Provides support to Calibration and Receiving Inspection processes and teams
- Actively supports Safety improvement initiatives

You will bring:
- Bachelor’s level degree in an Engineering field of discipline (Chemical Engineering or Chemistry preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in Manufacturing (Experience in aerospace chemicals, coatings, plastics, adhesives or composites industries preferred)
- 4-6 years’ experience with ISO 9001 and or AS9100 quality systems
- Experience using Six-Sigma tools (Six Sigma Green Belt preferred), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and chemical and/or mechanical testing
- Certification from ASQ preferred
- Experience working in a unionized environment preferred
- College level algebra and statistics preferred

- The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $90,880 to $113,600 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
