We are looking for: 

The senior project engineer must be a self-starter with the ability to work within an engineering project team consisting of internal and external resources.  Person must have a demonstrated history of successful project management of small to medium capital projects.  The senior project engineer must be able to communicate well in English across multiple functions and disciplines in a business environment.  Person must be able to define capital projects including the project scope, the business case justification, the expected results, the determination project costs, and completion of project documentation.  Upon project approval, person must be able to manage capital projects including the costs, schedule, functional group activities, and communication to all facets of the organization.  The senior project engineer must be willing to travel extensively to job site locations and work outside normal working hours as required by the projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The senior project engineer is responsible for the execution of capital projects, project engineering efforts in support of process improvement and process development activities, and the development of corporate equipment engineering standards.  The project engineer is responsible for the management of major expansion and modifications of manufacturing process equipment.  This includes equipment specification, mechanical design, project definition, management, and execution of projects for major production processing lines, testing equipment, and production facilities.  Person will be required to supervise and manage internal and external resources including engineering, mechanical, electrical and general contractor companies, as necessary, to complete project work. 

You will bring:

BUSINESS/TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:

The senior project engineer must have a minimum 10-years’ experience in engineering with a demonstrated history of successful execution and completion of capital projects.  The project engineer must have a demonstrated history in coordinating activities of functionally assigned internal and external resources resulting in the successful completion of projects.  The engineer must have demonstrated history in the development of specifications for mechanical equipment to support the job requirement of initiating new corporate machine standards.  The engineer must have a demonstrated history in the execution of projects requiring the implementation of new or replacement mechanical systems, manufacturing lines, and/or facility infrastructure equipment. The engineer must have strong technical writing skills to enable the development of corporate machine standards.

EDUCATION "REQUIRED": 

The engineer must have a minimum education of a BS in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.

EDUCATION "PREFERRED": 

A BS in Mechanical Engineering and PMP Certification is preferred.  Experience in managing projects using the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Gantt charts using MS Project or other Project Scheduling software is desired.

You will get:

• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $103,000 to $129,200 per year.

• Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.

• Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
