About the role 

 
Our Surface Maintenance Department team, composed of 110 people, is integrated with the Surface Operations Team and focuses on safe and reliable operation of our manufacturing process in collaboration with Surface Production and Technical Teams. 

As Utilities Supervisor, you will manage the Utilities team composed of approximately 17 people and work on preventive/corrective maintenance and reliability to support the safety, production and quality of our products and work on auxiliary assets and infrastructure of the site. You will get the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and have a positive impact on asset performance and people's development.

 

You will be accountable for:  

 

  • Supervise daily utilities activities, ensuring safe and efficient execution of work. 

  • Supervise contractors and contract management. 

  • Ensure performance of the work order management process. 

  • Lead and mentor utilities technicians, providing technical guidance and performance feedback. 

  • Manage maintenance documentation, work orders, spare parts, and equipment history in the CMMS. 

  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) and reliability improvement projects.

About you 

 
Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or Business Administration, or related field, 10+ years of maintenance experience in the chemical or heavy industrial sector and 5+ years in a supervisory or team‑lead role. 

 
Competencies: 

 

  • Strong understanding of facilities/utilities activities in chemical processing plants. 

  • Ability to work in diverse activities to support production and infrastructure.  

  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards (MSHA) and familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance planning & scheduling tools.

About the pay and benefits

 

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is:

 

  • $125,000-$140,000 yearly in the United States. 

 

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
