About the role 

 

Our Soda Ash Controlling team, composed of 6 people, is integrated in the Finance department. 

 

As a Site controller, you will support the sites of Green River and Parachute, part of the Global Business Unit Soda Ash & Derivatives. You will get the opportunity to act as business partner with the site management, the business unit and the finance team. You will be accountable for: 

  • Organize and coordinate the forecasting process and create annual Budget with cross-functional teams in the Site  
  • Provide the GBU Industrial Controller with information relevant for the preparation of the GBU Budget and rolling forecasts (fixed costs, variable costs, capex, inventories and other performance KPIs) 
  • Analyze and accurately report current month’s financial results and KPI’s of the plant in accordance with GBU format and time requirements, and explain the evolution of the performance to the plant and GBU management.  
  • Perform performance monthly reviews (labor and maintenance cost, material costs, manufacturing overhead, distribution cost, returns and inventory levels) with Site management, including analysis & recommendations aiming at enhancing the financial performance & optimizing assets. 
  • Ensure compliance to Group Finance standards and procedures, perform internal controls at the Site for finance, educate and raise awareness within the Site team   

 

We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode. 

 

About you 

 

Relevant education degree or equivalent in finance or accounting. Relevant work experience in controlling in manufacturing context. 

 

Competencies: 

  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and projections with a strong attention to detail and to analyze financial results and suggest an improvement plan where needed
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with a solid cost accounting background
  • Strong analytical capabilities and cross functional communication skills

  • Good communication and collaborative skills

About the pay 

 

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is: 

  • $ 112,000 - $ 140,000 per year in the US 

 

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
