About the role
Our Surface Production team, integrated within the Surface organization, focuses on safely and efficiently producing soda ash and derivative products in collaboration with Maintenance and other support functions.
As a Surface Production Senior Gatekeeper, you will play a key role in coordinating production and maintenance activities, supporting standard work deployment, and ensuring resources are aligned to achieve operational and reliability objectives. In this role, you will serve as a critical link between Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Logistics teams, helping to optimize equipment availability, prioritize work, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership and operational expertise will contribute directly to safe, reliable, and cost-effective production operations.
You will be accountable for:
- Serve as the primary liaison between Production and Maintenance to validate work requests, schedules, and equipment availability
- Review, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance notifications and work activities to support reliability and production objectives
- Lead gatekeeping processes to ensure production risks, permitting requirements, and operational constraints are addressed during planning and execution
- Develop and communicate production plans while coordinating activities with Maintenance, Mine Operations, Logistics, and other stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement, operational excellence, and manufacturing initiatives through data analysis, team collaboration, and process optimization

About you
Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering degree preferred with 5 to 10 years of relevant industrial experience.
Minimum of five years of experience in plant operations and safety practices is required.

About the pay
- Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is: $108,000-$140,000 per year in the United States. Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
