About the role
- Our Engineering team, composed of 11 people, is integrated in the Plant Operations department and focuses on process optimization in collaboration with production and maintenance teams.
- As a Process Engineer, you will work on troubleshooting, developing long-term solutions, and implementing process improvements to support continuous operation and efficient production. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the transformation journey of Soda Ash and Derivatives GBU (Global Business Unit) and have a positive impact on plant efficiency and product quality.
- You will be accountable for:
- Design, plan, and perform process experiments and studies.
- Develop and implement process improvements.
- Define optimized process settings and conditions.
- Research and investigate new methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with technical and production personnel.
- We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode, featuring a 4x10 work schedule (Monday to Thursday).
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from a four-year accredited college or university
- Other engineering or technical degrees from a four-year accredited college or university with chemical manufacturing experience will also be considered
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in process or industrial/manufacturing plant.
- Competencies:
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve problems.
- Ability to find and develop process improvements.
- Knowledge of process optimization techniques.
- Behaviors:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to assume responsibility for plant projects.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
About the pay and benefits
- Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the United States base pay reasonably expected for this role is $85,000 to $115,000, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
