Production Engineer (F/M/X)

About the role

• As a Production Engineer, you will be involved in, and in some cases lead, cross functional teams and implement small capital and maintenance projects in the plant.
• You will be accountable for:
  • Identifying and implementing improvement projects that improve day to day operations, efficiency, safety and quality;
  • Documenting and analyzing day to day process data, equipment failures and developing action plans to address opportunities and issues;
  • Carrying out the actions surrounding daily improvements, trouble-shooting failures or deviations, and coordinating routine tank and equipment cleanings, for normal operation.
• We offer a permanent contract based onsite working mode.

About you

• BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 1-5 years related experience in a chemical manufacturing environment preferred.
• Mechanical experience is a plus.
• Competencies:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, Google apps, and other systems similar to Solvay software systems is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a team environment and to be effective within a matrix organization is required. 
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and initiative in previous project implementation desired.
  • The ability to work with limited supervision, a self -starter, and having an inquisitive mind.

About the pay and benefits

• Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the USA base pay reasonably expected for this role is $102,240 to $113,600, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
