About the role
Our Civil Works team is integrated into the Maintenance Department and focuses on the maintenance, development and construction of civil engineering assets across the industrial site.
As Civil Works Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability and continuous improvement of all civil infrastructures, buildings and supporting facilities of the plant while guaranteeing compliance with safety, quality, budgetary and regulatory requirements.
You will be accountable for:
- Manage the Civil Works Department, ensuring compliance with site HSE standards and company policies.
- Define and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for buildings, roads, drainage systems, utility networks and civil infrastructures.
- Oversee the structural integrity and maintenance of industrial buildings, warehouses, offices, workshops and auxiliary facilities.
- Manage civil works associated with new industrial projects, including foundations, structures, roads, earthworks and underground networks.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors during construction, maintenance and refurbishment activities.
- Ensure compliance with Spanish building regulations, environmental requirements and industrial safety standards.
We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Technical Architecture.
Relevant wok experience (around 8 to 10 years) in civil engineering, construction or industrial. Additional training in Project Management, Construction Management or Health & Safety will be considered a plus. Candidates combining technical education with extensive construction management experience will be particularly valued.
Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering, foundations, geotechnics and industrial buildings
- Strong knowledge of construction management, planning, cost control, contract administration, and construction site supervision
- Knowledge of industrial painting systems and corrosion protection
- Fluent verbal and written English (B2 level)

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role.The base pay expected for this role ranges from 48,800 EUR to 61,000 EUR in Spain.
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
