VAT & Tax Trainee (F/M/X) - 12 Months Internship

About the role

• Our VAT & Tax team is composed of 7 people, and is integrated in the Finance department, being focused on VAT and Indirect Tax.
• As a VAT & Tax Trainee, you will work in a multinational environment and you will get the opportunity to contribute to the compliance of Solvay Group.
• You will be accountable for:
  • Manage/support with VAT corrections
  • Check VAT invoice requirements;
  • Support on the preparation and Filling of VAT, Intrastat returns and EC-Sales Lists (Europe);
  • Support on VAT audits (internal and external)
  • Support on the reconciliation of VAT accounts
• We offer a 12 months Internship contract based on hybrid working mode

About you

• Relevant education degree in Accounting, Tax, Economics, Finance Tax Specialization, or equivalent.
• Competencies:
  • Fluency in English (any other language would be a plus)

• Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. Portugal's base pay range for this role is 940 EUR up to 1040 EUR a month, based on your academic background.
