About the role

  • Our Total Rewards Services team, composed of 9 people, is integrated in the GBS Human Resources department and focuses on leading Total Rewards Services - responsible for delivering services on Global Mobility, Fleet, Benefits and worldwide, in collaboration with the HR Center of Expertise (CoE) - that is responsible for defining the Total Rewards Strategy and Policies for the Solvay Group; and with HR in Countries - that are responsible for the local benefits management and implementation.
  • As a Total Rewards Services Manager, you will work on ensuring the proper delivery of the Services within the scope of the team, in line with the strategy and guidelines defined by the CoE whilst feeding back opportunities for strategy evolution in line with employee feedback, leading and developing an internal team, managing external vendors and budget. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the HR Services and Policies worldwide, and have a positive impact on the employee experience.
  • You will be accountable for:
    • Managing the Total Rewards Services team, which includes specialists in benefits, global mobility and fleet management
    • Managing the operational support for Total Rewards services worldwide, collaborating with providers where needed to ensure quality in the service delivery (employee benefits programs, global mobility programs, fleet management) 
    • Deploying Total Rewards policies, projects and processes, considering legal requirements and Group policies.
    • Building strong relationship with country HR partners to ensure legal compliance and partnership in implementation of those policies and projects
    • Building a collaborative, innovative and performance driven culture within the team with clear and continuously monitored key performance indicators
  • We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.

 

 

About you

  • Relevant education degree or equivalent in business administration, HR, finance
  • Relevant work experience in total rewards or benefits roles, with experience in total rewards team management
  • Competencies:
    • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits programs and compliance requirements, global mobility and fleet services experience is a plus
    • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices, including global programs
    • Strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Behaviors:
    • Leadership, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive change
    • Ability to build relationships and influence and collaborate effectively across functions, geographies and seniority levels 
    • Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with a track record of developing talent and fostering collaboration 

 

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Portugal) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 50 000 euros to 70 000 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
