About the role

  • Our Product Stewardship (PS) Operations team, composed of 5 people, is integrated in the Product Regulations and Stewardship department and focuses on ensuring the compliant, safe and sustainable use of our products worldwide in line with Solvay’s Responsible Care commitment.
  • As a Raw Materials Data Analyst, you will work on improving the quality of our raw material data management processes, optimizing our SAP systems and assuring accurate CSRD KPI calculations to support Product Stewardship team. You will get the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement of the data management, processes and methodologies within the team and have a positive impact on enhancing product safety, regulatory compliance, and overall operational efficiency.
  • You will be accountable for: 
    • Manage Raw Materials data and documents in SAP EHS by covering supplier information, product usage sites, compositions, REACH registration numbers.
    • Perform accurate and timely data entry of new raw material and SDS information into SAP and 3E-Protect.
    • Ensuring data quality through extractions, analysis, and mass updates, addressing backlog items, and proactively identifying and correcting data inconsistencies.
    • Supporting regulatory compliance by learning and applying relevant requirements, as example, related to REACH and Substances of Concern (SoCs), and contributing to CSRD KPI data flow.
    • Participating in process improvement initiatives, extracting and analyzing data to identify optimization opportunities, and contributing to the implementation of technology solutions to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
  • We offer a fixed-term (12 months) contract based on hybrid working mode.

 

About you

  • Relevant education degree or equivalent in Chemistry or Data Analytics.
  • Relevant work experience in data extraction, query development or data analysis.
  • Competencies:
    • Fluent English both written and spoken
    • Technical proficiency (SAP, MS office, Google Tools, etc)
    • Knowledge on SDS requirements and regulation would be a plus
    • ERP (SAP EHS) knowledge would be a plus

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Portugal base pay reasonably expected for this role is 22,000 EUR to 24,000 EUR (Annual Base), your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
