About the role
Our Procurement operations team is integrated in the Procurement Service Line (PSL) department, and it's an end-to-end process focused on the creation and tracking of purchase orders (PO) and on processing the related supplier invoices.
As a Provisioning & Accounts Payable Operations Trainee, you will mainly be accountable for the Purchase Orders (PO) creation in SAP and follow-up of these purchase orders (materials/services) mostly for delivery dates and prices in case of non-perfect matching, by applying the agreed tolerance rules/procedures. You will get the opportunity to contribute to our Global Business Services in Lisbon and have a positive impact on the Solvay Group. You will be accountable for:

Creating the Purchase Orders and be responsible for the follow-up

Ensure invoice processing in a timely manner

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to handle outstanding payments, by maintaining close relationship with our customers

Manage customer requests via ticket or phone, prioritizing urgent requests

Actively contribute to continuous improvement methodology, taking direct ownership of proposed initiatives
We offer a 12-month internhsip based on a hybrid working mode (2x a week at the office in Carnaxide).
About you
Relevant education degree.
Competencies:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

English proficiency is required; any additional language (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch) is an advantage.

Accounting and SAP knowledge are a plus.

About the pay
Equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € 940 - € 1,040 per month in Portugal
