Procurement Operations Representative - Italian Speaker (F/M/X)

About the role  

Our Procurement Operations team is integrated in the Procurement Service Line (PSL) department, and it's an end-to-end process focused on the creation and tracking of purchase orders (PO) and on processing the related supplier invoices.  

As a Procurement Operations Representative, you will work mostly on PO creation, update, and follow-up to support the warehouse and purchasing department. Making sure that the material arrives on time to ensure the good functioning of the factory.   

You will get the opportunity to contribute to our Global Business Services in Lisbon and have a positive impact on the Solvay Group.  

You will be accountable for:  

• Creation of Purchase Orders in SAP   
• Follow up on these Purchase orders mostly for delivery dates and prices in case of non-perfect matching, by applying the agreed tolerance rules/procedures  
• Follow up on material/service delivery on time   
• Manage customer requests via ticket or phone  
• Prioritize urgent requests   
• Maintain close relationships with our customers  

We offer a fixed-term 9-month contract based on hybrid working (2 days per week onsite) mode.

About you 

Relevant education degree. Relevant work experience in provisioning, accounting, customer service, or similar activities is a plus.

Competencies:  

• Knowledge and experience working in SAP environment (plus)  
• Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory, with Spanish as an appreciated additional language
• Excel / office tools knowledge

About the pay 

Equitable pay for all: compensation is determined based on the role. The base pay expected for this role is: 

• €1200 per month in Portugal 

Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes other incentives (an amount of 10,20 EUR / day lunch allowance; 45 EUR / month home office allowance; health and life insurance)
