Process Mining Data Engineer (F/M/X)

About the role

• Our Digital Enablement team, composed of 6 people, is integrated in the Solvay Transformation Office department and focuses on Digital Transformation in collaboration with Solvay's Functions and Business Units.
• As a Process Mining Data Engineer, you will work on the deployment of new projects within a process mining tool and maintaining the developed data models to support the business. You will get the opportunity to contribute to Transformation projects and have a positive impact on Solvay Digitalization.
• You will be accountable for: 
  • Project Management: Data Collection, Data Preparation, Data Modeling and Data Visualization.
  • Setting up data connections between source systems and process mining tool, ensuring collection of consistent data and the preparation of data models and front-end applications
  • Process Enhancement by providing an operational workplace to the users; and building Machine Learning features to improve operational processes.
  • Maintenance of overall data models and applications.
  • Monitor data load jobs; perform evolutions to data models, analysis, operational workplace upon request.
  • Participate in upskilling a federated CoE network of analysts around the company.
• We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.

About you

• Relevant education degree or equivalent in Business Informatics or Computer Science.
• Relevant work experience of at least 2 years in data engineering and/or data science.
• Competencies:
  • Fluency in English
  • Celonis PQL language
  • SQL databases and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
  • Fundamental knowledge of Big Data, Data Mining and Process Mining.
  • Experience in Programming (YAML, Python, R, or other).
  • Project Management; project preparation, planning, animation of workshops, training and  stakeholder- and change management

About the pay and benefits

• Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Portugal base pay reasonably expected for this role is 35,600 EUR to 48,700 EUR (annual base), your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
