About the role
Our Materials and Customers Data team, composed of 6 people, is integrated in the Digital Enablement Business Functions department and focuses on Master Data in collaboration with Procurement, Finance, Lead to Cash among other Service Lines and Functions within our Global Business Services and Global Business Units.
As a Master Data Trainee, you will work on managing, organizing, and enriching master data according to legal and business guidelines to support the Business and Functions and enabling them to run efficiently. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the Digital Technology (DT) standards and have a positive impact on Solvay's Group and core businesses. You will be accountable for:
- Maintain material and customer master data, according to business requests and requirements
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders using defined communication channels
- Be compliant with internal rules and controls
- Respect Service Level Agreement and Quality standards
- Support continuous improvement culture and process efficiency, by proposing and working on the implementation of improvement opportunities
We offer an internship (12 months) contract based on hybrid (2 days per week onsite) working mode.
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Data Analytics, Finance or Management.
Competencies:
- Microsoft Tools (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) – Power Apps and/or Power Automate is a plus
- Intermediate level in Excel
- Fluency in English
- Programming language, SQL and/or SAP knowledge is a plus

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is:
- 940€ – 1040€ per month in Portugal
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
