About the role

 

Our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, composed of 10 people, is integrated in the Digital Technology Security and Compliance Platform department and focuses on design, implement and support the IAM technologies and processes to secure and provide the right accesses to the right people at the right time with the best user experience, in collaboration with Digital Technology department.

As an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Engineer, you will work on managing, designing and securing systems to support access management. You will get the opportunity to contribute to Group’s security accesses and compliance and have a positive impact on Solvay Security Transformation. You will be accountable for:

 

  • Identity & Access Management: Own the end-to-end identity lifecycle, including provisioning/de‑provisioning, access controls, periodic reviews, and enforcement of IAM policies and best practices.
  • Automation & Operations: Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows for identity and account provisioning, while troubleshooting and resolving IGA-related issues.
  • Application & System Integration: Lead application onboarding by integrating new systems into the IGA platform, ensuring alignment with security and access governance requirements.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure IAM processes meet regulatory and audit requirements (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) and support access governance and compliance objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with IT, security, and business teams to align IAM strategies with organisational goals and operational needs.

About you

 

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology. Relevant work experience of minimum 8 years in IAM or IGA roles.

Preferred Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM); Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

 

Competencies:

  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with IGA tools (e.g., SailPoint, Savynt, Microsoft, Memority, SAP)
  • Project management skills to plan and execute Identity-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to streamline IGA processes

About the pay

 

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € 48400 - € 73000 per year in Portugal.

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
