About the role

Our Programs & Planning team is integrated in the Digital Technology (DT) department and focuses on IT portfolio management and IT project management in collaboration with a wide variety of IT & and Business stakeholders.

As IT Project Manager with M&A expertise, you will work on a wide range of projects across IT domains (application, infrastructure, security, etc).

Your experience in mergers, acquisitions, integrations and separations will be particularly valuable in managing complex projects that require strong coordination across multiple regions, systems and stakeholders.

You will get the opportunity to contribute to business-critical projects and have a positive impact on their execution, governance, and outcomes. You will be accountable for:

• Leading projects from planning through implementation and handover to operations, using the appropriate delivery methodology.
• Creating and maintaining detailed project schedules, milestones and resource requirements, while overseeing day-to-day progress.
• Managing scope, budget, risks, issues, dependencies and changes.
• Establishing effective project governance, decision-making processes and clear accountability.
• Managing stakeholder relationships and maintaining clear communication across organizational levels.

We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration or similar.

Relevant work experience in IT Project Management, with proven experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, separations or carve-out initiatives.

Experience managing projects across different business or technology areas and adapting to changing portfolio priorities is also expected.

Competencies:

• Proven expertise in M&A-related projects, including integration, separation, carve-out, Day 1 readiness and transition planning.
• Ability to lead complex, end‑to‑end projects across IT domains such as ERP, Infrastructure, Network, End‑User Services, Applications.
• Crisis management capability (go‑live issues, site escalation, recovery).
• Strong project governance, financial management, risk management and supplier-management.

About the pay

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € 39440 - € 60500 per year in Portugal.

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
