Job Overview and Responsibilities

Syensqo is creating its internal Global Business Services (GBS) to cover Finance, Credit Management, Procurement, Human Resources and Transformation activities.  We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group’s transformation.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Mining Specialist with expertise in Celonis to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing business processes using process mining techniques. This role involves working closely with the GBS Services Lines and the Transformation team to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. The Data Mining Specialist will report to the Service Excellence Manager and will be part of the GBS Transformation and Service Excellence team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Celonis to conduct data mining and process mining analyses to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and deviations in business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze process data from various sources.
• Develop and maintain Celonis process mining models and dashboards to visualize process performance.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support the implementation of process improvements and monitor their impact using Celonis.
• Train and mentor team members on Celonis tools and techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in process mining and related technologies.
• Prepare and present reports and presentations to stakeholders on Celonis findings and recommendations.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology or a related field.

Proven experience of minimum 5 years in process mining, process analysis, or a similar role.

Proficiency in process mining tools such as Celonis or similar.

Technical expertise in areas within GBS preferred.
