ERP Rebuild program is a critical Syensqo initiative that will change the way we all work.
It aims to deliver to Syensqo a set of simple, standard, and integrated business processes and data, enabled by the latest technologies and a robust organizational change management and training.
The program will use the latest available technology, from automation to machine learning, with the goal of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the business and make Syensqo “future ready”.
It will also provide real time reporting to enable quick and informed decision making, for which data quality and robust and seamless integration are vital.
The ERP Rebuild program offers a few opportunities for anyone who joins: (1) become future and digital ready, (2) be part of a forward-thinking team and (3) continue to play an important role within Syensqo as part of the management team once the program ends.
We are looking for:
A GBS (Global Business Services) Data Manager to be accountable for all ERP data-related deliverables and activities within GBS. In particular, orchestrating data cleansing efforts, establishing master data governance frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize data processes. The GBS Data Manager will play a critical role in the successful implementation of our ERP system, ensuring data integrity and governance. While operational teams deliver specific components, the GBS Data Manager coordinates with relevant stakeholders, reports data cleansing progress and contributes to data readiness for a seamless go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Cleansing
- Lead GBS data cleansing-related activities in the ERP Rebuild program.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure timely completion of data cleansing activities.
- Oversee data cleaning processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify data quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Master Data Governance
- Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of master data governance policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the definition of data standards.
Communication and Reporting
- Establish clear communication channels to keep all stakeholders informed about the status of data cleansing activities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on data cleansing and data governance metrics, challenges, and achievements to the GBS ERP Readiness Lead, the ERP Program Data Lead, and GBS Leadership.
Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and obstacles in the data cleansing process and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations during data cleansing activities.
You will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience of minimum 10 years in project management, data management, ERP implementation, and data governance.
- Strong understanding of data cleaning techniques and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Certification in data management or related fields is a plus.
- Deep understanding of Global Business Services is preferred
