Financial Business Intelligence Analyst (F/M/X)

About the role

• Our team, composed of 5 people, is integrated into the Corporate Controlling department and works in collaboration with the different GBUs (Global Business Units).
• As a driven Financial Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining robust Power BI solutions, ensuring our financial controllers and leadership have access to precise and timely information to guide strategic decision-making. You will get the opportunity to contribute to elevating our financial reporting and analysis capabilities by transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights and have a positive impact on the team by solving challenging problems.
• You will be accountable for: 
  • Translate Financial Needs: Work closely with business areas and financial controllers to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into effective, scalable Power BI solutions
  • Drive Data Integrity and Accuracy: Manage efficient ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial data sources, while actively pushing for enhanced data quality at the source systems.
  • Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain advanced, interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Problem Solve & Innovate: Proactively identify and resolve complex data issues and discrepancies. Continuously seek innovative ways to enhance financial insights through improved data visualization and processes
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, present findings, and provide training to end-users on Power BI solutions

• We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working model (2x a week at the office). If you come from other parts of the country, we request an attendance of 2 days a month in Lisbon. 

About you

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Relevant work experience as a Power BI specialist, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse dashboard and report creations.

• Competencies:
  • Expert-level proficiency in DAX and data modelling principles.
  • Solid experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and extraction from various sources.
  • Financial understanding, including familiarity with financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and key financial metrics.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and a proven track record of problem-solving complex data challenges.
  • Experience with Power BI service administration, including security (RLS) and performance optimization.

About the pay and benefits

• Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country base pay reasonably expected for this role is 32,480 EUR to 40,600 EUR, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
