About the role

Our Treasury Service Unit - Accounting & Reporting team, composed of 8 people, is integrated in the Finance Service Line department and focuses on the Treasury and Energy activities in collaboration with Group Treasury team and Group Accounting Reporting team.

As a Energy Accounting Specialist, you will work on the accounting of transactions related to Energy management activities (Gas, Power, EUA Certificates), the assessment of accounting impacts at consolidation level and to be the coordinator with all stakeholders (Controllers, Company Accounting Manager, GAR, Auditors) involved in the Energy Process. You will be accountable for:

• Accounting of Energy Transactions for all entities of Solvay Group
• Assessment of accounting impacts at consolidation level
• Production of complexed financial analysis
• Be a key partner for SPARK project (Energy accounting)
• Coordination of Energy topic with all stakeholder

We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting. Relevant work experience of 5+ years in Accounting or Finance.

Competencies:

• Fluency in English
• Experience with Treasury accounting or Energy accounting is highly desirable
• SAP experience in the Accounting domain and knowledgeable in BFC Conso tools

About the pay

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € 39440 - € 49300 per year in Portugal.

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
