About the role
Our Hazardous team, composed of 7 people, is integrated in the Product Regulation & Stewardship department and is responsible for ensuring the compliant, safe and sustainable use of our products worldwide in line with Solvay’s Responsible Care commitment. You will be in collaboration with other teams for case resolution (Operations team, TERA (Toxicological Environment Risk Assessment) , Compliance, IH (Industrial Hygiene), DT and PRS – Product Regulation & Stewardship teams).
As a EHS Administrator Analyst, in collaboration with EHS Administrator experts, you work on providing support, analysis and services to the Global Business Units to ensure regulatory compliance and a harmonized Solvay product management; ensuring Data Management (extractions / analysis / mass update); supporting managing the rules for Certificates & RDS, analyzing and performing update and upload of the rules (SAP EHS package implementation); managing, updating and implementing the Biocidal Product Regulation Labels based on customer requirements and following the request on internal tool to support Operations Team (SDS authoring management) and end-users and have a positive impact on our organization.
You will be accountable for:
- Data Management: Analysis and exploitation of SAP EHS data via extractions (pivot table); Synthetic restitution (Excel Report/Power BI) with action plan; Impact analysis; Managed tools to update and upload data in mass in the system
- 3E ERC+ Package implementation (EHS Regulatory Content) : Rules analysis, update, tests and implementation, Template analysis, Functional communication with Operations team, Technical management
- BPR (Biocidal Product Regulations) Label management: Analyze, propose, challenge user need Create specification detailed for the development done by IT team
- Be able to provide expertise, support, and services to the Global Business Unit on substance activities and knowledge on SDS requirements and regulation would be a plus
We offer a fixed-term (6 months) contract based on hybrid working mode (2 days per week onsite) if resident in Lisbon Area. Outside Lisbon area the hybrid working mode applicable is 2 days a month onsite.
About you
Relevant education degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Life Sciences. Relevant scientific expertise in (Eco)toxicology/Chemistry/Health & Environmental Risk Assessment and Regulatory expertise (Classification & Labelling (CLP/GHS), ATP (Adaptation Technical Progress – OSHA - , REACH).
Competencies:
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- SAP EHS and SDS knowledge would be a plus
- Experience with Microsoft tools (e.g. Excel)
- Familiar and able to easily understand industry processes and regulation constraints

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is:
- 24,000 € to 26,000 € per year in Portugal
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes other incentives.
