About the role
The Global Collaboration and Document Management team, part of the Digital Technology department, includes 15 staff and contractors. We ensure that Solvay’s essential collaboration tools and document systems 5DMS) work reliably and keep improving for daily use worldwide.
Specifically, the tools we manage and support include leading platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 & SharePoint, Altirnao AODocs, and M-Files.
As a Service Owner, you will hold primary accountability for the operational excellence of our delivered services, ensuring their smooth, reliable running, in line with the committed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Beyond day-to-day service delivery, you will also be a key driver in the strategic transformation of our entire IT landscape, with a particular focus on the integration and optimization of Microsoft solutions.
You will be accountable for:

Lead the DMS Portfolio: Drive the delivery and ongoing enhancement of the Document Management System (DMS) portfolio.

Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as the primary point of contact and expert for key collaboration tools (e.g., AODocs, Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive, Bricsys).

Coordinate Service Stakeholders: Manage and align all parties involved in the service (support teams, infrastructure, hosting providers, and software editors).

Monitor and Improve Performance: Track tickets and key metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives that enhance service efficiency and user satisfaction.

Manage Service Lifecycle: Oversee all service updates, changes, migrations, and the full application lifecycle, from initial deployment to eventual decommissioning.

Oversee Budget and Risk: Effectively manage the service budget, resources, and ensure all risks are identified, escalated, and mitigated.

Translate Requirements and Drive Projects: Gather business needs, translate them into technical use cases, and ensure projects and custom developments are completed on time and within budget.

About you

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Administration, or a related document management field

10+ years of experience in service management, or a similar role, preferably within a technology-driven environment

Proven track record of successfully owning and delivering services or products
Competencies:

Experience in service delivery and ITIL processes

Excellent knowledge of AODocs (Altirnao), Bricsys (Engineering Construction), Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365, including SharePoint

Good knowledge of DocuSign (eSignature), M-Files, and OpenText xECM

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is:

€ 38 960 - € 48 700 per year in Portugal
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
