About the role
- Our Development & Data Factory team is integrated in the Digital Technology (DT) department.
- As a Development Architect, you will ensure the robustness, scalability, and efficiency of the organization’s data platforms and technical architectures by designing and optimizing data and system structures.
- You will be accountable for:
- Defining and maintaining the organization's data architecture to align with business goals.
- Providing software engineering and data engineering technical leadership and advice within the Development & Data Factory CoE.
- Designing scalable, secure, and efficient system architectures to support enterprise applications.
- Collaborating with development and engineering teams to establish best practices for data modeling and system integration.
- Ensuring compliance with governance policies and regulatory standards in data management.
- Creating technical and data strategies and roadmaps, and providing input into the Enterprise Architecture-lead DT strategy.
- Collaborating and participating in the overall DT architecture community.
- We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode.
About you
- Relevant education degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Architecture, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
- Relevant work experience in Data Architecture or Technical Development.
- Competencies:
- Expert in designing and implementing scalable and efficient data architectures to support enterprise-level data and application requirements.
- Deep knowledge of database systems, data modeling techniques, and modern data platforms, including cloud-based solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Extensive expertise in integrating data and systems using APIs, ETL pipelines, and middleware technologies to ensure seamless interoperability.
- Expert at driving innovation and providing consultancy and specialist advice to the community of architects as well as the Development & Data Factory.
- Advanced proficiency in creating technical designs and architectural documentation aligned with organizational and business goals.

About the pay and benefits
- Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Portugal) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 46 720 euros to 73 000 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
