About the role

 

Our Global Ethics & Compliance team is composed of 8 people and integrated in the General Counsel department. This team ocuses on Ethics, Business Integrity, Anti-bribery & Corruption, Third-party oversight in the Supply Chain and the relevant Internal Investigations. As Compliance Counsel, you will play a key role in safeguarding our integrity by leading investigations and supporting the evolution of our global compliance framework.

You will get the opportunity to contribute to embedding a culture of integrity across the organization and have a positive impact on ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies globally. You will be accountable for:

 

  • Compliance Program Deployment: Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive compliance programs.
  • Third-Party Risk Management: Implement initiatives focused on third-party oversight, with a particular emphasis on downstream supply chain integrity (including risks related to anti-bribery, anti-corruption (ABAC), Fraud, and Trade compliance).
  • Compliance Investigations: Conduct compliance investigations autonomously or collaboratively, ensuring thoroughness, objectivity, and timely reporting.
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor regulatory changes and conduct risk assessments to prepare effective mitigation plans.
  • Training & Culture: Help develop and deliver ethics and compliance training programs to foster a "speak-up" culture.

 

We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode.

 
About you

 

Degree in Law or similar and 5-8 years of relevant work experience in in-house legal departments or law firms with a focus on Ethics, Compliance, or Investigations.

 

Competencies:

  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Experience in third party and supply chain risk management and/or trade compliance.
  • Program Management: Ability to support the deployment of compliance programs across the organization and supply chain.
  • Investigation Experience: Ability to conduct legal or compliance reviews autonomously is a significant plus.
  • Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Portuguese or other European languages is a plus.

About the pay

 

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is:

 

  • €48.400 - €60.500 per year in Portugal
  • R$ 217.200 - R$ 271.500 per year in Brazil


Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
