About the role

Our Accounting Platform (ACP), composed of 35 people, is integrated in the Finance Service Line and focused on accounting and reporting activities, collaborating with other Service Units and local teams. As an Accounting Trainee, you will support Global Businesses, Functions and Corporate for decision making, by providing user friendly financial reports (Balance sheets, Cash Flow, Profit and Loss statements), compliant with legal and Group requirements, through standardized, automated and streamlined processes with best efficiency. You will be accountable for:

• Assistance in internal control and external audit
• Support  the closure run for a given legal entity according to closing timetable, perform technical and accounting controls, analyzing, solving blocking matters and assist the release of financial package for consolidation
• Perform accounting operations, according to Company Accounting Manager/Director (CAM/CAD) requests, needs and guidelines, in line with accounting standards and closing deadlines
• Participate in small projects and continuous improvement initiatives

We offer an internship (12 months) contract based on hybrid working mode. 

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting. Any previous experience in Accounting is a plus.

Competencies:

• Accounting knowledge
• Fluent in English
• German/ French/ Italian/ Spanish languages are a plus
• Kowledge in MS Excel and Outlook tools

About the pay

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined according to academic background. The Internship Allowance for this role is € 940 - € 1040 per month in Portugal.
