We are looking for:
- A Sales Manager - Poland & Germany will be responsible for driving the growth of Syensqo's Novecare portfolio by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with existing and potential clients, and developing strategies to increase sales. A proactive and strategic thinker with a strong background in sales and business development within coatings and industrial applications.
We count on you for:
- Develop and deploy the strategy for Novecare Markets, in order to support business growth in Poland and Germany with focus on GBUs Coatings and IPS.
- Develop the vision and strategy aligned with BUs: based on an in-depth market understanding, develop, manage and implement the Regional Sales Plans, assessment of the needs, and actionable execution plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Understand the end-market needs:
- collect and understand market data & needs through direct interactions with customers, industry associations, market publications and pertinent conferences / trade shows.
- synthesize market data from multiple sources to form competitive intelligence and identify new opportunities by leveraging technology competencies and new technology development needs.
- from customer and market needs derive the value proposition of Syensqo’s product portfolio.
- Deliver, capture and maintain value:
- negotiate and close deals with new and existing clients.
- ensure customer satisfaction by addressing issues and providing solutions in a timely manner.
- build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to develop sales revenues further.
- collaborate with R&I and Business Development Managers to identify, select and recommend new projects/ opportunities.
You will bring:
- BS in Chemistry or Polymer science or a related field.
- More than 5 years of commercial or technical experience in the specialty chemicals sector.
- Working knowledge of additives and surfactants ideally in coatings and industrial applications (industrial and decorative coatings, metal working, lubricants, or water treatment.)
- Native in Polish, Fluent in English and German (must have)
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Must have advanced negotiation skills to close deals effectively while maximizing profitability and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Customer-oriented and "hunter" personality.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
