About the role

Our pilot team, composed of 5 people, is integrated in the R&I department and focuses on synthesis and evaluation of rare earth based inorganic materials in collaboration with global R&I team, BDM and site industrial / technical team.

As a pilot technician, you will work on synthesis, sampling and evaluation of the rare earth based inorganic products to support customer needs and industrial process improvements. You will get the opportunity to contribute to R&I projects acceleration and have a positive impact on global collaboration works. You will be accountable for:

• Synthesis and evaluation of rare earth based innorganic products at pilot facilities
• Shipment of customer samples
• Characterization, analysis of the products
• HSE related actions

We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in bachelor or master. Relevant work experience in synthesis, development of inorganic materials or chemical engineering.

About the pay

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is:

• JPY 4,200,000 – 6,000,000 per year in Japan

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
