We are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Water Treatment and Rehabilitation Engineer to join our team in Spinetta Marengo, Italy. 

We count on you for:

• Providing engineering support for air quality, soil quality, water quality and environmental programs.
• Tasks related to environmental programs include work stream coordination; monitoring; report writing; data collection, calculations, analysis and interpretation.
• Regulation review and implementation.
• Developing and implementing programs and plans to introduce best practices and maintain compliance with European, state, local & corporate requirements.
• Completing and submitting required regulatory paperwork.
• Prioritizing multiple responsibilities with little supervision and be able to interact with local authorities; suppliers; GBU functions.
• Promoting stakeholders’ engagement.
• Communicating and following up as required on any environmental concerns, incidents, near misses or opportunities for improvement using the appropriate company process.
• Electronic database management.
• Work product generated must be accurate and timely as required.

You will bring:

Education and Experience:

• Chemical or Environmental Engineering Master Degree / Environmental Sciences
• Master Degree / Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry Master Degree.
• 0-3 years of experience
• Possibly experienced in environmental topics
• Possibly acquainted with Environmental Management System Standards
• Possibly experienced in generating SOPs and Procedures
• Industry experience preferred
• Languages: Italian and English

Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written ability to communicate effectively with internal customers, external suppliers and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to identify and create processes in the scope of his/her/their job.
• Ability to work well with others and to be team/customer oriented.
• Ability to analyze information, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritize and organize required job activities.
• Be able to work with limited direct supervision, recognize what needs to be done and
• have the entrepreneurial attitude to do it.
• Pay attention to details (analytical thinking).
• Target oriented (able to synthetize).
