About the role
Our Production team, composed of 70 people, is integrated in the Production Unity department and focuses on the proper operation of manufacturing units for Hydrogen Peroxide, Peracetic Acid and Solcarr, in collaboration with the whole plant.
As a Production Manager, you will work on shift coordination, operational decision‑making, and production planning to support safe, efficient and compliant manufacturing operations. You will get the opportunity to contribute to process performance, operational safety and production reliability, and have a positive impact on quality, environmental protection and cost control.
You will be accountable for:

Deciding and implementing operating adjustments (operating conditions, production rates, start‑ups, shutdowns) in alignment with Unit Production Management.

Coordinating shift activities and ensuring compliance with operating standards, procedures and day‑team activities.

Defining production schedules for intermediate and finished products according to shipment and delivery requirements.

Identifying and proposing improvements to facilities, procedures and equipment, and implementing new procedures when process or equipment changes occur.

Planning equipment release and restart with Shift Supervisors and maintenance teams, and coordinating instrumentation and equipment interventions.

Overseeing process modifications, new equipment and installation acceptance.

Leading incident investigations and ensuring compliance with all safety requirements and procedures.

Inspecting production facilities regarding housekeeping, equipment condition and safety, issuing instructions when needed.

Managing personnel matters (operator selection, vacations, absences, lateness, overtime) together with HR and deciding on shift team composition with the Unit Production Manager.

Promoting compliance with Quality, Environmental, Safety and Industrial Hygiene systems and standards.

About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field. Relevant work experience in production operations, process supervision or industrial manufacturing.

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is 47,360 EUR and 66,000 EUR in Italy. Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
