We are looking for:

A Coating Specialist for Resin business, based in Vadodara, reports to India Technical Manager

We count on you for:

• Self driven polymer expert to assist project leader for the technical development of emulsion polymers and various new emulsification formulations  platform projects pertaining to coatings and adhesive applications, water borne resin new products and new applications to answer new mega trends for coating and adhesive industries complying with current and upcoming regulations. 
• To assure and ensure the implementation of R&I projects in alignment with business strategy.
• To lead and coordinate technical service and lab work on various emulsion polymers solutions and paints formulations with customers to support business growth and maintain Syensqo’s leadership position.
• To ensure the performance in terms of innovation, scientific/technical quality, relevance, competitiveness of our technologies and/or the technical solutions proposed, while respecting deadlines.
• To carry out assigned projects independently and plan day-to-day activities and carry out multiple experiments.
• To support the sales team to resolve product and application related complaints and actively involved in trouble shooting.
• To maintain data in the required format and prepare reports for reference.
• To ensure proper housekeeping and systematic records of experiment results
• To ensure traceability and repeatability of the experiment results
• To implement, follow and enforce Environment, Health and Safety guidelines (EHS) for all activities and comply with roles for proper housekeeping, 5S, common equipment maintenance, audits etc.

You will bring: 

• Minimum Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemistry or similar disciplines
• At least 5 years of waterbrone resin synthesis working experience 
• Knowledge and correlation/interpretation expertise in the area of polymer chemistry and paint additive. 
• Experience in resin synthesis and its usages in paints and coating industry
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
