Syensqo is seeking for an experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in administering SAP systems running on Linux / HANA and SAP ASE (Sybase), with a focus on system performance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Experience with SAP BTP and Integration Suite will be considered as a plus. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle SAP Basis activities, including system installations, configurations, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Monitor system performance, manage system landscapes, and ensure high availability and reliability of SAP environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP systems, databases, and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP projects, including implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
• Perform system health checks, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Apply support packages, kernel upgrades, and security patches.
• Support SAP BTP environments, assisting with cloud-based integrations and extensions as needed.
• Document technical procedures, system configurations, and best practices.

Education and experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM and CISSP) are preferred.
