Job overview and responsibilities

This position will be based in Pune, India.

The Printing Service Owner will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our printing operations within the Endpoint Management Team. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of both printing and endpoint management technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing printing services, a commitment to security and compliance, and the ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Operational Management:
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of printing services, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Implement and maintain best practices in printing technology and production methods.
  • Collaborate with the Endpoint Management Team to ensure seamless integration of printing services with endpoint devices.
• Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance printing service capabilities and support business objectives.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve printing efficiency and user experience.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in printing and endpoint management.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Endpoint Management Team to align printing strategies with organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Vendor Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with printer vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality and service standards.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements for printing services.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits of printing operations.
  • Respond to and mitigate security incidents related to printing services.

Education and experience

• Proven experience in managing printer services or similar operations.
• Strong knowledge of printing technologies, processes, and industry standards.
• Experience with endpoint management tools and technologies (rh. Ricoh Streamline).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.

• Ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and business needs.
