​ About the role

  • Our Strategic Channel Partner(SCP) INDIA team, composed of 5 people, is integrated in the Commercial department and focuses on Business Growth in INDIA in collaboration with SOLVAY GBU’s. This role will work with the Silica and Peroxide GBU’s and would be responsible for implementing their growth strategy in the INDIA Market.

  • As a Sales Manager for INDIA handling Silica and Peroxide Sales, you will work on capturing growth in the Region, Enhance our market understanding in the territory (Including end-market size, market dynamics, competitive landscape and identifying and capitalizing on growth drivers in the region and generate new opportunities and projects to support the implementation of the GBU strategy for Silica and Peroxide in India (A clear market positioning of the businesses in the INDIA Market). You will get the opportunity to contribute to Business growth and have a positive impact on overall margins.

  • You will be accountable for:

    • Achieving the Budget for the Region for both the GBU’s.

    • Maximize Sales Value and Volume for the existing customers.

    • Increase our Market Share in the Strategic Segments of (1)Tires market for Silica GBU (2)Electronic and Pharma Grade Hydrogen Peroxide for the Peroxide GBU

  • We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode.

 

About you

  • Relevant education degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering.

  • Relevant work experience of a minimum of 10 years and more in Sales and Marketing (B2B) with a demonstrated track record in Business Development. You would need to have an experience in sales of technical products, specialties and should be able to sell solutions to meet customer needs. Industry experience can be in Chemicals or from other related sectors

About the pay and benefits

●       Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the India base pay reasonably expected for this role is 2886560 to 3,608,200 INR(CTC 37~47 Lacs), your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
