⦁ Join Solvay's EMEA Regional Procurement team, composed of 27 people, where you'll report to the Senior Regional Procurement Site Buyer in Rheinberg.
⦁ As a Site Procurement Buyer, you will support the management of all sourcing & tactical purchasing activities of all goods and services required for the site in accordance with the Solvay Procurement Governance. You will work in collaboration with the category managers to contribute to the elaboration of the categories' strategies and support the implementation at the site level. By collaborating with relevant site operational stakeholders, you will analyze spend evolution and operational issues, actively supporting the development of spend optimization opportunities and driving operational improvements. You will implement and monitor procurement policies and processes. Finally, you will develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers.
⦁ You will be accountable for:

- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and payment terms.
- Manage site contracts within authorized limits, aligning with defined category strategies.
- Execute spot and emergency purchases for the site within agreed authority, implementing risk mitigation plans as needed.
- Support procurement strategies, performance plans, policies, processes, and contracts. This includes aiding in supplier relationship management for local site suppliers and contributing to transversal initiatives for spend optimization and operational improvement.
- Participate in procurement networking sessions and actively collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Escalate process deviations and claims to the relevant management.
- Ensure timely price updates and follow-up within systems.
- We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode. You will be expected to be present on site at least 3 - 4 days per week.
About you
⦁ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
⦁ At least two to three years of procurement experience; industrial experience is a plus.

About the pay and benefits
⦁ Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country base pay reasonably expected for this role is € 66000 to € 80000, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
