About the role

Our Circularity team, composed of four people, is integrated in Soda, Bicar & Derivatives GBU and focuses on business & new project developments.

As a Projects & Business Developer in Circular Economy, you will work on business development , project management & innovation to support new circularity projects. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the sustainable processes of tomorrow and have a positive impact on sustainability and site competitiveness with a cradle to cradle approach.

You will be accountable for:

Deploy the 5Y Roadmap of the assigned project & current business lines

Sales: Secure and contribute to improve current turnover of several M€/y and in particular:
-
Understand customers needs and technical requirements/pricing.

Build case studies. Develop, negotiate, and monitor contracts in several segments and improve best practices: cement manufacturing, fertilization, constructions, ceramics, raw material recovery,...

Manage the resolution of customer complaints and issues being the Voice of the customer internally

Project Management

Priorities, Dashboard tracking, Problem solving proposition, milestones, monitor costs, CAPEX & Resources

Management of cross functional project team, assure alignment, motivation and delivering in line with the mandate given by local Steering committee.

Priority 1: Generation reduction, 2. Recycling, 3 . Go to market

Organization/ Management : Improve way of working

Bring awareness propose solutions and support industrial organization
- Go regularly to shop floor
- Someone to cover our German and French customers and partners for Rheinberg (DE) & Dombasle (FR)

About you
-
Relevant education degree or equivalent as chemical engineer or business.

Relevant work experience in chemistry, cement, construction, batteries or agriculture segment is a strong plus

Competencies:

Fluent English skills required for customer negotiations. As well as fluent in German or French; a willingness to learn the other is essential.

About the pay and benefits
-
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While Germany is the primary country, the base pay reasonably expected for this role is €77000 to €110000, your final salary may be higher or lower depending on your skills, experience, and the country in which you work. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
