About the Role:

As an IT Site Delivery Specialist at the Solvay Plant in the US/Green River site, your role encompasses various critical responsibilities:

  • Communication and Coordination: You will be the point person for communicating and coordinating local crises and major changes within the IT services landscape.

  • Incident Management and Solution Proposals: Your expertise will be pivotal in managing customer complaints, and recurrent incidents, and suggesting innovative solutions or areas for improvement.

  • Handling Non-Standard Requests: From new network requirements for offices or buildings to managing "non-standard requests," you'll ensure seamless integration of IT services.

  • Contributing to Implementation: A team player at heart, you will actively contribute to the implementation of new IT solutions, services, and changes, ensuring smooth transitions.

  • Local IT Management: Your role involves managing and monitoring all local IT activities, and maintaining operational efficiency and effectiveness.

 

About You:

To excel in this role, you'll need to embody the following qualities and qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Possess at least a bachelor's degree, preferably in IT, providing a solid foundation for your responsibilities.

  • Professional Experience: With a minimum of 5 years in Information Services within international and industrial environments, you bring invaluable experience to the table.

  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrating a strong grasp of Infrastructure solutions and services, including Google Apps, Lite devices, PC workstations, printing, LAN, Wifi, servers, SSO, etc.

  • Prioritization Skills: Your excellent ability to prioritize tasks and projects optimizes daily operations, ensuring efficiency even in challenging situations.

  • Customer Focus: With a strong customer orientation and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, you ensure customer satisfaction remains a top priority.

  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: Your proven problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex issues with confidence, driving effective resolutions.

  • Autonomous Work Style: Working autonomously, you thrive in taking initiative and responsibility, contributing proactively to organizational goals.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (spoken and written), you effectively communicate across diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with standard IT tools (Google Suite, MS Office, Windows OS, Chrome OS, etc.), as well as experience with ticketing tools like RemedyForce and Freshdesk.

  • Additional Skills: ITIL training, knowledge of networks and telephony, project management experience, and strong communication skills further enhance your suitability for this role.
     

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country base pay reasonably expected for this role is 91k to 113k, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
