About the role

Our EMEA Regional Procurement team is integrated into the Solvay Global Procurement Organisation department.
As a Site Procurement Manager, you will manage all sourcing & tactical purchasing activities of all goods and services required for our La Rochelle production site following the Solvay Procurement Governance and in collaboration with the Global Corporate as part of the Regional Procurement organization. You will lead specific transversal purchasing regional initiatives and/or contribute across the entire region spend portfolio for Opex & Capex.
You will be accountable for:

• Active member of the site (extended) leadership team and working with the site's stakeholders to identify priorities, needs, issues, areas of improvement, smart alternatives and cost effective innovation opportunities
• Leading the Spend Review Challenges (SRC) at the site, implementing of savings initiatives and support site operations
• Sourcing, negotiating, and managing (or leveraging) local and regional contracts within your scope in coordination with the defined category strategy, when applicable.
• Managing the procurement performance and capturing savings for the accountable spend.
• Monitoring and implementing the global/regional category strategies
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, ethical standards, and company policies, especially the strict application of governance and appropriate buying channels, by all stakeholders.

We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode (present on site at least 3/4 days per week).
 

About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management 
Relevant work experience in procurement (6/8 + years) in an industrial production site

About the pay and benefits

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the France base pay reasonably expected for this role is € 53,840 to € 67,300, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
