About the role
Our Automation team is part of the Maintenance / Reliability department and focuses on the performance and reliability of the site’s automation systems, working closely with the maintenance, operations, and project teams.
As an Automation Engineer, you will work on industrial PLCs, control systems, and industrial networks to support the performance and safety of the installations. You will have the opportunity to contribute to investment projects and make a positive impact on equipment reliability. You will be responsible for:

Designing and modifying industrial PLC programs (Siemens, Schneider, or equivalent) and the DeltaV DCS.

Ensuring the operational availability of control systems, PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial networks.

Participating in risk analyses and integrating safety requirements related to Seveso environments.

Leading or contributing to investment and modernization projects.

Performing complex troubleshooting and providing technical support to teams.

About you
You hold an Engineering degree or a Master’s (Bac+5) in automation, electrical engineering, industrial computing, or a related field. You have 3 to 10 years of experience in industrial automation, ideally in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical industries, or on a Seveso‑classified site.
Competencies:

Proficiency with Schneider EcoStruxure PLCs and knowledge of DeltaV.

Industrial networks: Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP.

Control system and SIS architectures; awareness of industrial cybersecurity.

About the salary
We offer an attractive and equitable compensation package: the base salary range for this role is €45,520 – €56,900 per year in France.
Your salary may be adjusted based on your skills and experience. A competitive set of rewards is also offered, including a bonus and/or additional incentives.
