About the role
Our Engineering & Construction team, composed of around 10 professionals, is integrated within the Dombasle site operations and focuses on the reliability of production, energy transition, and environmental impact reduction in collaboration with production, maintenance, and purchasing teams.
As a Project Engineer, you will work on investment projects, technical studies, and construction supervision to support the transformation and modernization of our site. You will get the opportunity to contribute to strategic industrial developments and have a positive impact on sustainability and operational excellence. You will be accountable for:
- Lead industrial investment projects from €200K to €10M, from feasibility studies to commissioning, ensuring technical and operational coordination.
- Conduct technical and process pre-studies with production teams, define needs, establish planning and budgets, and prepare investment requests.
- Oversee design and engineering phases, including drafting specifications, selecting suppliers with Procurement, and managing internal and subcontracted deliverables.
- Manage construction activities and start-up adjustments, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and achievement of performance targets.
- Provide regular project reporting, identify challenges, propose solutions, and coordinate all internal and external stakeholders.
We offer a permanent contract with an onsite working mode at our Dombasle-sur-Meurthe site (near Nancy, France).
About you
- Relevant education or degree in mechanical or general engineering. 2 to 5 years of experience in project studies and construction management.
- Experience in project management and field operations (commissioning, troubleshooting). Experience in the chemical industry is a plus (pumps, piping, valves, instrumentation, P&ID diagrams).

- Fluency in French; professional English required.
- Proficiency in IT tools (SAP, Microsoft Office).
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanics, structures, materials, fluids, energy systems, and industrial design.

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € 44,400 - € 55,500€ per year in France.
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
