About the role

 

Our Procurement team is integrated within the Regional Procurement organization and collaborates closely with site leadership and global/regional category teams.
As the Site Procurement Manager (SPM), you will work on managing the total site spend, driving savings initiatives, and ensuring full compliance with Solvay Procurement Governance to support safe, efficient, and cost‑effective site operations.
You will get the opportunity to lead strategic procurement activities, influence key stakeholders, and have a positive impact on site performance, cost optimization, and supplier management.

 

You will be accountable for:

 

● Partnering with site stakeholders to identify priorities, needs, issues, improvement areas, smart alternatives, and cost‑effective innovation opportunities

● Leading Spend Review Challenges (SRC), implementing savings initiatives, and supporting site operations while deploying global/regional category strategies

● Sourcing, negotiating, and managing (or leveraging) local and regional contracts in alignment with defined category strategies

● Ensuring compliance with regulations, ethical standards, company policies, governance rules, buying channels, and safety requirements

● Managing supplier performance, including safety monitoring, and proactively addressing escalated issues

 

We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode (minimum 3–4 days per week onsite).

 

About you


Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant work experience in industrial environments (2–3+ years) and procurement (6–8+ years).

About the pay


Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role.
The base pay expected for this role is: 53,000 € – 67,000 € per year in France.

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower depending on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
